About the Role

Provides professional nursing care to patients and families, primarily working with outreach providers and floating to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing duties, administers medications, and coordinates patient care activities.
• Assists providers during procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Monitors, records, and reports patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Prepares exam rooms, maintains supplies, and ensures cleanliness.
• Greet patients, conduct assessments, obtain health histories, and educate patients and families about health, medications, and wellness.
• Responds to patient inquiries, manages appointment scheduling, and handles lab specimen labeling and quality control.
• Ensures effective communication within the healthcare team and maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication, observational, and clinical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Visual acuity and hearing ability adequate for clinical duties.
