About the Role
Provides professional nursing care to patients and families, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs general nursing duties, administers medications, and coordinates patient care activities.
- Assists providers during procedures, examinations, and tests, and prepares equipment accordingly.
- Monitors, records, and reports patient conditions and reactions to treatments.
- Manages appointment scheduling, ensuring timely patient flow and prioritizing emergencies.
- Gathers patient information, conducts assessments, and educates patients and families on health topics.
- Maintains exam rooms, manages lab specimen labeling, and ensures cleanliness and supplies.
- Responds to patient calls and addresses care issues, suggesting solutions when needed.
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Effective communication skills
