About the Role
Registered Nurse (RN) in an oncology and infusion care setting, providing direct patient care, counseling, education, and clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Assist during procedures.
- Coordinate patient activities.
- Educate patients and families.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and ethical care in accordance with standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Document care accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers.
- Provide back-up support for Radiation/Oncology clinics.
- Oversee equipment and supplies.
- Uphold infection control standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy.
- 1-3 years of oncology or infusion experience (preferred).
- Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to safety and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with clinical software (desired).
