About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) in an oncology and infusion care setting, providing direct patient care, counseling, education, and clinical support.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Assist during procedures.
  • Coordinate patient activities.
  • Educate patients and families.
  • Ensure high-quality, safe, and ethical care in accordance with standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Document care accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers.
  • Provide back-up support for Radiation/Oncology clinics.
  • Oversee equipment and supplies.
  • Uphold infection control standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid RN license.
  • Certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy.
  • 1-3 years of oncology or infusion experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills.
  • Adherence to safety and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with clinical software (desired).
