About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers, adhering to evidence-based standards, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
  • Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to cultural and demographic factors.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals guide care plans.
  • Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, inclusion, and respectful clinical environments.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.
  • Engage in professional development, mentorship, and evidence-based practice activities.
  • Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and contribute to protocol development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
  • RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum five years of clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.

The role involves performing other duties as assigned, supporting resource efficiency, and maintaining compliance with policies and standards.
