Registered Nurse (RN) FT Days - Oncology (Acute Care)

Role Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practices and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver individualized care.
• Partners with patients and families, using effective communication methods, to support patient goals and promote understanding.
• Safeguards safe, respectful, and culturally competent care, promoting teamwork and collaboration across disciplines.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance care quality.
• Completes ongoing professional development, mentors colleagues, and upholds organizational policies and standards.
• Participates in protocol development, resource management, and evidence-based practice activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth.
