Role Overview
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practices and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver individualized care.
- Partners with patients and families, using effective communication methods, to support patient goals and promote understanding.
- Safeguards safe, respectful, and culturally competent care, promoting teamwork and collaboration across disciplines.
- Supports performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance care quality.
- Completes ongoing professional development, mentors colleagues, and upholds organizational policies and standards.
- Participates in protocol development, resource management, and evidence-based practice activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth.
