The RN Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They perform the nursing process, adapt care to diverse populations, and partner with patients and families to meet their goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based clinical care
- Ensure effective teamwork and communication
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Support professional development by mentoring and serving as preceptor
- Promote research and best practices
- Adhere to organizational policies and standards
- Assist in developing protocols to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (single state or multi-state compact)
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
