About the role
We are seeking registered nurses (RNs) to join a psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care for adults, especially seniors, experiencing mental health crises.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and care for patients from admission to discharge
- Carry out physician's orders
- Perform clinical assessments
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Provide group and individual therapy/education
- Administer treatments potentially involving restraints or seclusion
- Educate families on medication, side effects, disease management, and coping skills
Requirements
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics or mental health
- Active RN license from an accredited program
- Flexibility in working hours and shifts
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
Schedule
The role may involve overtime and weekend work.
