About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values, ensuring adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to cultural diversity, involving patients and families in care planning and education.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and participating in performance improvement activities.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and system policies to enhance patient safety and care quality.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care background.
Skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in technology use and time management.
- Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments and respond decisively to emergencies.
