Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg/Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric - Full-Time Days

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values, ensuring adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to cultural diversity, involving patients and families in care planning and education.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and participating in performance improvement activities.
• Promote evidence-based practice, research, and system policies to enhance patient safety and care quality.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care background.
