About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking. The role emphasizes relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, fostering collaboration with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care using inclusive communication methods and timely documentation.
- Promote teamwork, participate in performance improvement, and support shared governance initiatives.
- Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold clinical competencies and organizational policies.
- Advance evidence-based practice, participate in research activities, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- RN licensure (single or multi-state).
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and applicable state licenses.
