Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg/Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high-quality, and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical setting guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring their goals are central to care planning.
• Ensure safe, quality care coordination, documentation, and adherence to policies promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Engage in teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, performance improvement, and research activities to enhance care quality.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in data collection, and contribute to protocol development for best practice outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license (single or multi-state), Basic Life Support (BLS), and BLS Instructor certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
