Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical ICU - PD

About the Role
- Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients.
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
Requirements
- Passion for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- 1+ years of experience in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) or another Critical Care Unit (SICU, ICU, CCU, CTICU, etc.).
- Experience reading cardiac monitors.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Will consider Associate Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program.
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
Pay
Salary Range: USD $59.61 - USD $77.49 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate; actual pay will encompass factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable.
