Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical ICU

About the role

Under the supervision of a Critical Care Pulmonologist, the Medical ICU is staffed 24 hours-a-day with a team of Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, and medical house staff physicians consisting of interns and residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop into well-rounded, highly skilled medical professionals within a fast-paced environment.
• Challenged and grow critical thinking, vast medical knowledge, clear communication, and extensive skillset.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• Minimum one year acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• In exceptional circumstances, Registered Nurses with an ASN/ADN who are currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered.
