Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Observation

Overview

Sentara is hiring an RN to work at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk on the Med/Surg Observation Unit. The position offers a generous sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and a moving allowance for qualified candidates. New graduates can receive an additional $7,500 sign-on bonus. The shift is full-time, nights, approximately 6 PM to 6 AM.

Minimum Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN, or MSN from an accredited school

Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility located in Norfolk, VA. It was founded in 1903 and relocated to its current site in 1977. The hospital underwent renovations in 2016, including new patient towers, an atrium, and a multi-story parking garage. Sentara Leigh Hospital specializes in orthopedic and spine care, heart, vascular, maternity care, and general surgery. It also houses the region’s only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program.
