About the role
We are seeking a full-time, night shift Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to coordinate safe patient care for diverse populations under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs
- Develop and update care plans addressing biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs
- Delegate tasks to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
Requirements
- Current Kansas RN licensure
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- ACLS certification required for specific units
- Oncology certification required for post-surgery care (must be completed within the first year)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Recent healthcare experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
