About the role
The Labor and Delivery Unit at Atrium Health Cleveland includes 8 labor rooms, 3 triage rooms, 1 OR suite, 1 PACU bed, and 19 rooms for mother baby care. The unit serves a diverse patient population with support from skilled physicians, midwives, pediatric hospitalists, and anesthesiologists. New graduates receive specific training, and experienced staff can pursue certification courses.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
- Implement evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.
- Communicate effectively and lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Active registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of nursing experience, preferred.
- NRP certification within six months of hire.
- Fetal monitoring class required every two years.

Pay
$38.20 - $57.30 per hour, based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, 36 hours per week, night shift, every 3rd weekend.
