About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. This role operates under the LDRP model (Labor, Deliver, Recover and Postpartum) within one department.

Responsibilities

• Absorbs and interprets information from various sources including patients, families, physicians, and other health team members.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans based on assessment findings and collaborative input.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams and ensures patients are prepared for additional support needs after achieving current care goals.
• Directs and delegates care tasks to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Promotes the nursing profession and collaborates with colleagues to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Valid compact license must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willing to obtain within four years of hire.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $35.22 - $53.29, with actual rates dependent upon experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, nights.
