About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by using technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordinating care with other health team members.

Responsibilities

  • Absorb and evaluate patient information from various sources including other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Provide or delegate care based on the plan of care, guidelines of care, and professional licensure provisions.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise the plan of care as necessary.
  • Promote the nursing profession and collaborate with others to develop skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Valid compact license must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willing to obtain within four (4) years of hire date.
  • One or more years of RN work experience preferred.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $35.22 - $53.29. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Schedule

This is a Full time, 36 hours a week position with variable shifts. Self-scheduling for 8 weeks is required.
