Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and personal care services
- Assess, plan, and evaluate resident needs using the nursing process
- Perform admission assessments and full body system analysis
- Document and prioritize resident data across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational domains
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Develop individualized care plans and involve patients and families in decision-making
- Educate residents, families, and staff as needed
- Supervise healthcare team members in accordance with regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and discharge planning
- Provide information on services to assist informed decision-making
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
