Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care
This is a Per Diem, Day shift position in Mid Coast Senior HealthCenter, which offers multiple levels of care in one location to enable individuals to live at the highest levels of independence possible. Care is delivered in a holistic and personalized manner designed to enhance the quality of life for each resident.
About the role
The MH Registered Nurse - Long Term Care provides high-quality resident patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. This role collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
This is an RN II level position, indicating competence in the clinical role with demonstrated ability to care for most assigned patients. While not expected to care for every patient type within the area of hire initially, the role includes obtaining appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. Automatic advancement from RN I level occurs after 1 year as an RN I, provided all onboarding requirements and good standing are met.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- One year of recent RN experience.
- Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where applicable).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
