About the role
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse providing comprehensive nursing care in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on medical histories and assessments.
- Review physician prescriptions, communicate care plans, and coordinate with healthcare team members.
- Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends.
- Teach residents and families about health conditions, medications, and self-care procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate resident conditions, adjust care plans as needed, and document care activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
- Manage resident care equipment and supplies, and participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Lead and coordinate workflow among nursing staff and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Active nursing license in the practice state.
- Effective communication skills and visual acuity.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
