Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Long Term Care

About the role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a healthcare facility, supporting residents' physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate with healthcare providers, and educate residents and families about health conditions and self-care.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates nursing care plans.
• Provides direct resident care, documentation, and communication with healthcare teams.
• Educates residents and families on health conditions and self-care.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-stocked care environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
• Manages resident care equipment and oversees admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Supervises nursing assistants and ensures adherence to legal, organizational, and safety standards.
• Coordinates workflow and adheres to organizational and legal standards.

Requirements

• Active nursing license (RN or LPN) in the practice state; RN preferred.
• 1-3 years of clinical or long-term care experience.
• Effective communication skills and adequate visual acuity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Compliance with safety laws and standards.
