Responsibilities
- Reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating care plans to the healthcare team.
- Developing nursing care plans based on medical histories and resident assessments.
- Providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents and their families.
- Teaching residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
- Evaluating and adjusting care plans to meet changing resident needs.
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment following infection control and medication protocols.
- Managing resident care equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Leading workflow and supervising nursing assistants and staff.
Requirements
- Current active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Effective communication skills and visual acuity.
- Preferred 1-3 years of clinical or long-term care experience.
