About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing physician prescriptions and developing individualized care plans.
- Providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and staff.
- Coordinating with healthcare team members and ensuring effective communication.
- Educating residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care.
- Monitoring and evaluating resident health, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Maintaining a safe environment by adhering to infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
- Managing nursing supplies and equipment, and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Supervising nursing assistants and other team members, ensuring quality care delivery.
Requirements
- Active RN license or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Effective communication skills and visual acuity to perform duties.
- Preferred 1-3 years of clinical or long-term care experience.
- Commitment to teamwork, confidentiality, and safety standards.
Schedule
Work involves rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
