About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one homecare visits, including catheter care, wound care, diabetic management, and medication administration. Visits typically last 30 minutes to 1 hour. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Initiate and modify care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes
- Support patient education, care coordination, and discharge planning
- Adhere to professional standards, legal regulations, and organizational policies
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing education
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current RN license in the state
- BLS certification
- Current PPD or chest X-ray
- Compliance with professional standards and practice
Qualifications
- One year of RN experience is preferred but not mandatory
