Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in a regional hospital. This role offers the chance to expand critical-care skills and care for complex patients in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient-centered nursing care
• Closely monitoring patients
• Assessing evolving conditions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Administering treatments
• Developing assessment skills
• Educating patients and families

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility via a compact license
• BLS certification
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Both new graduates and experienced nurses with backgrounds in med-surg, telemetry, or ICU are encouraged to apply
