About the role

As an RN Cardiac Telemetry, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, monitoring, and performing procedures for cardiac patients. You will collaborate with medical providers and care teams, administer medications, document care accurately, and respond promptly to patient needs. Your responsibilities include educating patients and families about treatments and ensuring positive clinical outcomes, while advocating for patients and embodying organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, and document care thoroughly.
• Administer medications and respond to adverse reactions.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatments, and medications.

Qualifications and Skills

• RN license with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year.
