About the role
The Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) assesses and monitors patients recovering from cardiac procedures, interpreting ECGs, detecting arrhythmias, and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level, patient-centered care for cardiac patients, including those post-open heart surgery, catheterization, ablations, and device placements.
- Collaborate with cardiology teams, deliver evidence-based treatments, and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Valid Missouri RN licensure
- Current BLS certification (ACLS within 6 months)
Skills
- Prior clinical experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
