About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Progressive Care provides high-quality, patient-centered care for acutely ill patients with complex needs outside the ICU. Works in a 24-bed, fast-paced, team-oriented environment caring for diverse patients including Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiac cases.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, documenting care accurately.
- Monitor patient responses and maintain knowledge of relevant medications, procedures, and equipment.
- Collaborate with medical providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license with a diploma.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months.
