About the role
The Clinical Decision Unit Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical teams to assess, monitor, and treat patients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, promptly reporting changes.
- Perform procedures, administer medications, monitor responses, and document care thoroughly.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, educate families about medical conditions and treatments.
- Act as an advocate, ensuring positive patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications obtained within specified timeframes.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license obtained within 90 days of employment.
