About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) oversees patient-centered care in the emergency department during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality nursing care
- Manage admissions/discharges
- Support efficient patient throughput
- Collaborate with management to assess care quality and foster teamwork to improve outcomes
- Engage in service recovery and promote a patient-first approach
- Support staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and compliance with personnel policies
- Assist with inventory management and supply control
Qualifications
- RN license with an associate or bachelor’s degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (within specified timeframe)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (within specified timeframe)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification (within specified timeframe)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course certification (within specified timeframe)
