Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cardiac patients, interpret ECGs, detect arrhythmias, and intervene during emergencies.
- Provide care for patients recovering from open heart surgeries, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, pacemaker/AICD placements, and other cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiology providers and deliver evidence-based, high-level critical nursing care outside of the ICU.
- Support patient recovery and safety through assessment and intervention in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license and diploma required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months.
