Join our team as a night shift, PRN General Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. Work in a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, advanced cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

Individuals within this job classification are accountable for:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
• Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assessing data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpreting the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Planning for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards.
• Adhering to and abiding by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree of Nursing (ADN).
• Current valid OK or Multistate RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
