About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to deliver individualized care. The role emphasizes professional development, adherence to ethical standards, and participation in organizational initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and foster a positive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with patients and families to ensure care goals are met, incorporating cultural diversity and effective communication.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Support performance improvement activities, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practice.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
• Develop protocols, assist in resource management, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.
