Registered Nurse (RN) - Float - Labor and Delivery

About the role

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Labor and Delivery role. Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, supporting multiple hospitals within the health system.

Responsibilities

• Support a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices and prioritizing patient wellness and safety.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff and contributing to a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Work in units including Mother/Baby, Birth Center, Women's Care, and NICU, following established standards such as AWHONN and AACN.
• Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and specialty training supported by clinical educators.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across various shifts, including days, nights, and rotating schedules.
• Support multiple facilities as part of the float pool, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• RN licensure
• Certification in BLS
• Certification in NRP within 6 months
• 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship
