About the role
Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Emergency Center has 22 beds with surge capacity, including Emergency Cardiac Care Center and Remote Stroke Certifications. Trained to care for traumatic injuries, acute illnesses, chronic illnesses, psychiatric conditions, and various other conditions. We have a robust orientation process tailored to ensure your success.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Emergency Room experience is preferred
