Registered Nurse (RN)- Emergency Department

About the role

The Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on assessment findings.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers and staff.
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
