About the role
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) responsible for leading and supervising nursing, technical, and support staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing and scheduling for 24-hour patient care
- Assign patients based on acuity and staff skills
- Provide clinical consultation
- Participate in recruitment and staff education
- Mentor team members
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Act as liaison between staff and management
- Oversee supplies
- Maintain clinical practice through direct patient care when needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Bachelor's in Nursing or in progress
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current NY RN license
- CPR certification
- Professional specialty certification preferred
