About the Role
Provide high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and updates.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care within a collaborative team, supporting performance improvement and research activities.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
- Participate in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety standards and policies.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional growth, and adherence to ethical standards.
