Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating - Full-Time Days

About the Role

The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care aligned with evidence-based standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate and document safe, high-quality clinical care while promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support professional development by mentoring, completing competency assessments, and adhering to organizational policies and standards.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal care delivery.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
