Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology Short Stay Unit (Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at Christiana Hospital. CSSU is a 14‑bed mixed cardiac‑specific inpatient and observation intermediate cardiac care area that provides scheduled and emergency care/procedures on a 24‑hour basis, accommodating patients who need emergency cardiac care and testing.

Requirements

• At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting is required.
• Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step‑down experience.
• BLS & ACLS required.

Qualifications

• BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $42.11 – $67.37. This range represents ChristianaCare’s good‑faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting; the actual salary offered will depend on individual factors such as skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.

Schedule

Full‑time position with 12‑hour shifts; hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekends and holidays worked as required by the department.
