Registered Nurse - Cardiology Unit - Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit. Responsibilities: Provide age-appropriate patient care, monitor and care for patients both virtually and bedside, communicate care information, perform medication reconciliation, complete procedure checklists, provide patient and family education, and document interactions in EPIC. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; ACLS and NIHSS certifications within 6 months of start date. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year of inpatient nursing experience. Skills: Knowledge of patient needs, effective communication, ability to respond appropriately to patient conditions, and documentation proficiency. Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, support discharge planning, and act as a resource to the bedside team.
