About the role
Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit, providing bedside and virtual patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and communicate patient status
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Complete procedure checklists
- Answer patient and family questions
- Educate patients and plan discharges
- Document interactions in EPIC
Qualifications
- Associate or higher degree in Nursing
- Current Illinois RN license
- CPR certification
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications within 6 months of hire
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- 1+ year inpatient nursing experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of patient needs
- Strong communication
- Clinical documentation
- Ability to respond to diverse patient conditions
