Registered Nurse - Cardiology Unit - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit. Responsibilities: Provide bedside and virtual nursing care, monitor patients, communicate care information, assist with medication reconciliation, perform patient/family education, and document interactions via EPIC. Respond to patients' physical and psychological needs and act as a resource to bedside RNs. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; ACLS and NIHSS certification within 6 months; preferred Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of inpatient acute care experience. Skills: Knowledge of patient care across age groups, effective communication, documentation proficiency, and ability to perform procedures and patient education.
