Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit - Night Shift

About the role

Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac, Telemetry, Neuro, and Stroke Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and virtual patient care
• Monitor patient status
• Communicate care information
• Assist with medication reconciliation
• Perform patient education and discharge planning
• Document interactions using EPIC
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate patient status effectively
• Perform clinical procedures and support patient/family education
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with certifications

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• CPR certification
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications within six months of hire
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least one year of inpatient nursing experience

Skills

• Knowledge of patient needs across age groups
