Registered Nurse - Cardiology Unit - Night Shift

About the Role

Registered Nurse position in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit, providing comprehensive care to patients across different age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care at the bedside and virtually
• Monitor and assist patients in both Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke settings
• Communicate care information effectively to patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Perform medication reconciliation
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Document all patient interactions and care details in EPIC

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• ACLS and NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
• Relevant nursing experience preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of patient care across different age groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient documentation skills

Schedule
