Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients’ health status and develops care plans accordingly
• Provides direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring vital signs
• Delegates tasks to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and agency guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current nursing license in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
