About the role

5 Heart tower is a 30-bed Cardiac Medical-Surgical Unit specializing in pre- and post-cardiac procedures and serves as an ICU step-down for patients requiring close cardiac monitoring. We care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterizations, device placements, and electrophysiology procedures. A fast-paced, team-oriented unit that offers opportunities to develop strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex cardiac care. Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date
  • Cardiac/critical care experience preferred

Pay

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour
