Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Surg

Role Overview

This nursing position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a designated setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and leadership to improve patient outcomes. The role requires delivering high-quality care through critical thinking, compassionate communication, and adherence to nursing processes, while respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments based on medical conditions.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform treatments utilizing nursing knowledge and manual skills.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans, including psychosocial needs and post-discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and assist physicians with procedures.
• Prioritize patient safety and promote cost-effective practices, minimizing waste.
• Engage in lifelong learning to stay current in nursing practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Proficiency in computer literacy.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
