Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Surg

About the Role

This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various care settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires critical thinking, compassionate care, and maintaining patient dignity, autonomy, and rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately, administer medications, and perform treatments
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
• Address psychosocial needs and ensure patient safety
• Perform general nursing duties and assist physicians with procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients
• Promote cost-effective practices and efficient use of resources
• Prioritize care and promote patient safety
• Engage in lifelong learning to stay current in nursing practices

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Computer literacy required; ACLS/PALS preferred
