Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to patients in various areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology.
• Absess the needs and implement care as necessary using the latest technology and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families about medication changes, treatment plans, and patient conditions.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Provide preventative and supportive care aimed at the physiological and psychological well-being of patients.
• Oversight of the Nurse's Aide team, including giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors through kind words and encouragement.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
• CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team player with a dedication to supporting team members and getting the job done.
